West Roxbury's Centre Street to get ice cream again

The Real Deal will start carrying Emack and Bolio's ice cream, the Jamaica Plain Gazette reports. In exchange, Emack and Bolio's in JP will carry Real Deal sandwiches.
Centre Street hasn't had a place to get a cone since the Great Ice Cream Massacre of 2005, when both Yoo Hoo's and Friendly's closed up shop.

West Roxbury will no longer have to hide its head in shame when it gets together with all the other neighborhoods (and, yes, Westie fans, I know all about the JP Licks on the VFW Parkway, but that's barely West Roxbury - it's almost Brookline).

Is the 9-kinds-of-meat-product-with-your-eggs breakfast special. Never tried the ice cream.
