I see ads from Target and Macy's on TV touting Christmas - on November 5th. I go to my local Stop & Shop and they have Holiday Cookies on the shelves - bet those will be nice by the time the actual holidays roll around.

I've tried to fight it, but it seems to be a losing battle. I guess I should just take solace in the fact that, since I'm a Christian, at least Christ's name is being given a public showing more than it usually is, but...
