Movie fight gets nastier

Paul Revere Park

“Originally the scene was to take place on Bunker Hill Street near St. Francis, but I decided on Paul Revere Park thinking we'd cause little less attention there.”

For guys referring to themselves as "Townies", they certainly don't have much grasp of Paul Revere Park. Just because it wasn't there when they grew up doesn't mean that it isn't a busy place!

First of all, this park attracts numerous members of the latte baby jogger crowd during the day.

Secondly, it is very popular with the doggehs of the Navy Yard and City Square. Pooch party in the oval every morning and evening.

Third, it is a cut through between North Station area and Charlestown, and heavily traveled on foot as a more pleasant alternative to the bridge. A big hotel and large office buildings are in the area.

Finally, there is a State Police presence on the Charles river dam (boat HQ).

How they ever thought it would be less conspicuous than Bunker Hill at this time of year or ever deserted enough at mid-day to pull this stunt is beyond me - unless, of course, they did little if any recon and didn't have a clue about their own town!
