He has to drive to work now

A man charged with being the Green Line groper has to stay away from all MBTA property at least until the end of his trial, a judge ruled today.

Jeffrey Berman of Newton pleaded innocent in Boston Municipal Court today to one count of indecent assault and battery and two counts of open and gross lewdness in connection with incidents on E trolleys dating back to November, 2006, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office says. A judge reduced Berman's bail from $25,000 to $10,000.

Prosecutors say the photograph taken by a Boston Latin School junior proved invaluable in bringing Berman in - fliers with it went out Dec. 6; he surrendered to police the next day. Prosecutors say they found a pair of sunglasses matching those in the photo in Berman's car, parked at the South Bay mall.

I am thrilled this guy was arrested. I hope other women take a lesson. Don't take this kind of stuff from anyone. Take his damned picture.

Or better yet,

take his picture, then kick him in the balls.

That's a good combo of something old-something new.

I still say this picture will be thrown out in court. Just because someone takes a photo of a person on a train does not make them guilty. Don't get me wrong -If this indeed the guy he deserves to be locked up. He will plead innocent and it's their word against his and a good lawyer will get that photo thrown out as evidence.
