When [fill in the blank] attacks
By adamg on Thu, 12/20/2007 - 5:31pm
When douchebags attack (redux).
When Jonathan Papelbon's dog attacks.
When lame-o reporters on the midday news on Channel 5 attack.
When bank robbers dressed like George Costanza and Waldo attack.
When the companies that make Christmas-tree ornaments attack.
When tire-pressure warning lights attack.
Hmm, maybe this'll finally help me get this "When [Fill in the blank] attacks" construction out of my head.

When buildings attack...
when man's buildings say "no more..."
Its snow
Trust me, I have groused and complained too and I am usually not one to say 'hrmph stop whining on your blog.' If I think someone is whiny I don't read their blog.
But... you have to shovel your walk for the mail carrier or you won't get your mail. Why should they injure themselves because you haven't shoveled your steps? Its common courtesy. If you live in an apt, call your landlord or the City to fine your landlord. But if your steps are not clean, you do not get your mail. Period.
And Reason #4 why Boston sucks? Its sucks cuz someone ignored the Snow Emergency and parked their car on a road with No Parking during Snow Emergency signs? So the plows had no where to put the almost record setting December snow? And now when that person leaves, we are stuck with a lump of ice on the road? I think that person who left their car sucks, not Boston.
lots of lazy whiny people. take 20 mins after the snow and clean your steps and car. People are driving around with a huge snow toupee on their ridiculous minivans. Clean that crap off, morons. (There's my whiny bitching!)
Good point, Reality.
If people would just simply take some responsibility and move their car, even to a garage or whatever, before the snowstorm hits, there'd be far fewer problems and streets would be better-plowed and safer to drive on.
Actually,
Sometimes I park my car on the street in front of the house on purpose before a storm, because that way we can actually clear the space out with little effort all the way to the curb, compared to the crusty ridge of snow that would otherwise be pushed into the middle of the space by the plows. It also means we can get the snow blower up the driveway easier.
heh. "Snow toupee." I love
heh. "Snow toupee." I love it.
Actually, I hate them, but you know what I mean.
Snow Mullet
My minivan had what could be described as a "snow mullet" last night, but I buzz cut it with a shovel.
