Interestingly enough,
Interestingly enough, Norwalk Virus was named after Norwalk, Ohio. Connecticut is off the hook... for now at least.
Norwalks
I was about to point out the same thing. As it happens, my dad was born in Norwalk, Ohio (in 1916), and he had intestinal trouble all his life. It also happens to be the case that Norwalk, OH was named after Norwalk, CT (northern Ohio used to be the "Western Reserve" of Connecticut), having been founded after the Revolutionary War by refugees from the earlier Norwalk.
Undoubtedly more than you wanted to know.
