Armed and snowy eyed
Boston Police report:
Ronald Greene, 37, of Dorchester and Michael Dias, 29, of Boston were arrested on armed robbery charges after an incident at the Quality-Mart Convenience Store at 21 Massachusetts Ave. in the Back Bay. They allegedly used a small semi-automatic handgun to make off with cash from the register, lottery tickets, batteries and Altoids mints (Altoids mints?).
Not long after, Boston and State Police report stopping Kevin Sherman, 50, of Boston at a Charles Street sobriety checkpoint. They ordered him out of the car on suspicion of OUI; instead he drove off. They caught up with him soon after:
After a short pursuit, officers were able to locate the motor vehicle. In fact, the suspect's motor vehicle came to a stop after coming into contact with a snow bank.
So now he faces a bunch of charges, including, yes, OUI.
