Shut Storrow Drive - at least on Sunday mornings

John Daley is liking the proposal to shut Storrow Drive on Sunday mornings:

Some of us, of course, would prefer to see Storrow shut permanently.

Storrow closure
I'm all for reclaiming the parkland anyway we can for whatever time we can.
My only stipulation would be that bikers, boarders, and speedsters of all types be allowed ONLY on Storrow during those hours.
I would love a peaceful walk with my dog on the Esplanade without someone buzzing by us at high speed.
So give anyone moving at more than a walk the drive and let those of us who would like some peace, quiet and safety stroll on the paths of the Esplanade during those hours.
