What's a girl got to do to get a free pass in this town?

Boston Police report on a variety of arrests, including four guys arrested early yesterday in Dorchester on a series of gun-related charges after a traffic stop (yes, once again, alleged bad guys nabbed because they can't drive) and a couple of bar incidents:

A Somerville lass allegedly involved in a fight on the dance floor at Hurricane O'Reilly's on Canal Street early yesterday was being escorted out when she tried to make a break for it and get back on the floor, police say. When collared again, the woman, described by police as "rowdy," allegedly punched a detail officer in the face:

After being placed under arrest, the suspect was extremely animated yelling that she was a girl and that officers should not touch her. Once escorted outside after having been placed under arrest, the suspect turned around and spit in the officer's face.

So make that two counts of assault and battery on a police officer.

Not long after that incident, police responded to Goody Glover's on Salem Street on a report that some dude had kicked in the bar's front door after last call, allegedly in an attempt to get his sister's phone. Unfortunately for him, the bar worker who called police knew where the sister lived; police went there and found the alleged door kicker, a dude from New Jersey. After bringing him back to the bar for identification, they treated him to some Boston hospitality.

Finally, early this morning down in Roxbury, officers monitoring the closing of the Breezeway Bar spotted a car operating erratically at high speed on Blue Hill Avenue. They started chasing and when they caught up with him asked the driver why he was driving so poorly:

The suspect responded that he was on his way home and was in a rush because he had to go to work in the morning.

Police do not specify if he was released in time to make it to work.
