Not So Fast
The Patriots have looked vulnerable over the last month. Don't think they're a shoo-in. And unless they win the Super Bowl, the 1972 Miami Dolphins will still be considered the best team of all-time.

Agreed
Sure, the defense is a bit more porous than in September, and the offense isn't scoring as many points, but so what? They're still 18-0. That says it all.
Mid field they looks like
Mid field they looks like crap, but holding SD to 4 kicks through the uprights is pretty spectacular, and it's about time the goal line D stepped it up.
Lack of dramatic arc
Yeah, they'll win the Super Bowl, but somehow I'm having trouble getting as excited about it after having already seen them do it three times in recent memory.
The quest for a 19-0 season also lacks a certain dramatic arc, especially compared to the 2007 Red Sox season: trying to win their first division title since 1995, keep the Yankees out of first for the first time since 1997, avoid completely squandering a 14-game lead to those same Yankees, and finally coming back from a 1-3 deficit against the Indians.

Yeah, but the Patriots have to to make it happen without having a payroll bigger than that of, say, ten other teams combined. But I guess a level playing field isn't much of an arc.
