That's the BPDNews' host in case anyone cares. Frugal much?

This isn't the first time they've had trouble there.

I run several sites and some of the new search engine crawlers are way out of control. In my case, they (one in particular) don't pay attention to robots.txt and don't realize they're crawling a dynamically generated, "infinite" calendar. They used up all of my my (substantial) bandwidth in about two days. It's nearly DDoS.

Especially since ol' UH here is dynamically generated (albeit with caching; however BPDNews is mostly static MT pages). But as I mentioned, this isn't the first time BPD has had problems with that host:

BPDNews.com victim of Web-host server switch.
Be on the lookout for BPDNews updates.

I want my fix too. Especially since a few of them (plainclothes officers in BPD jackets) were poking around my backyard early this morning and I'm still searching for an explanation. (Phone call to the BPD just send you into an endless vortex of red tape.)

The site was back up this afternoon, Wednesday, 1/30. Ahhhhh.
