Brookline Police report two dudes trading iPods at 227 Babcock St. Thursday afternoon got into a dispute that quickly escalated:

Mr. Vandenbroeke then picked up a chair to throw at the other subject. When the victim tried to stop the suspect, he was hit over the head with the chair. Mr. Vandenbroeke was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
