T stations leak

Some of them, anyway, the Globe reports:

... At North Station, where MBTA officials have spent more than $262 million renovating the station, water poured in through the ceiling. ...

At North Station, however, T official say the problem is due to ongoing construction of a nearby building.

I've noticed groundwater seeping in from behind the walls of the Green Line side of the NS "Superstation" from the day it first opened to patrons. I suspect it's one of the reasons they installed that fancy screening on the curved wall, so folks wouldn't see how bad the problem really is.

And this was long before they started construction on any adjacent buildings.

Have you seen the roof of Alewife station? Every time it rains or snows there are leaks all over the place. There are occasionally buckets here and there, but more often there are just giant puddles to skirt. I don't know if they're even trying to repair the roof at this point.

Having already had a bad fall and hit my head at Davis a few months ago (slipped on a giant patch of ice that no one salted), I am really not in the mood for another T-related injury.
