Romney gives up

Let me be the first to say

ha ha

Willard the Veep?

Makes me wonder if this means he is angling for that job his "leadership style" is best suited to: do-nothing Veep.

Great insurance policy for McCain given how deeply the most rabid of wingnuts despises him.

we win

Now you talk show cowboys snap to and recognize ,we WON,salute John MCCAIN as your leader.

Hasta la victoria

and enjoy your one hundred years' war.

Now he can return to his home state

michimasshamptah!

for the good of the country

Romney and I finally agree on something

Can we bet Healys pretty

Can we bet Healys pretty pissed off right now?

After all she ran her campaign into the ground trying to save face on Romney's failed administration here in MA, as not to anger a potential boss in the white house.

Can't believe that I'm typing this

But it may be a great day to listen to
Jay Severin.

Jay Severin Reaction

Severin's reaction was marked with the same degree of class he has ALWAYS exhibited: he promoted a website that attempts to promulgate the story that McCain collaborated with the North Vietnamese to get special treatment. (By the way, did you know that if you Google "severin" and "sex toys", you get thousands of hits!)

Jimmy Severino gets in the mud?

What a shocker!

Jay was more than a little disappointed...

I listened to bits and pieces of his show this afternoon, and he liberally (no pun intended) trashed John McCain and put his boy Mitt on a high pedestal. Jay's bias was blatant and obvious.

The one thing that brought Mitt down: while he was known in Massachusetts for bringing in mandatory health insurance, the rest of the nation found him too slick and prepared. They must have found out some stories about his battles (!) with the state legislature, or they didn't like his religion, etc. There are quite a few things I disagree with about McCain, but at least McCain has some grit and determination. The more we find out about him, though, will come in the next few weeks, when the press employs the adage of "of whom the gods would destroy, they first call promising."

Did anyone else notice that

Did anyone else notice that the at first the Globe had a huge, very unflattering photo for the story where it looked like Romney was going to bust some tears, or was really angry? Kinda like:

or

...except a little while later, they changed it to one of him looking all happy and proud, namely:

Brilliant invective, but ...

Can we declare Todd Domke over already?

With Mitt out and done

Domke's personal cottage industry should be over too.
