Guess Schilling Can't Trump for McCain

The real story here is that Schilling won't be as effective trumping for McCain if he's on the DL. An active pitcher making an impact on the mound has more clout on the political landscape. Schilling helped get Bush elected. If he's on the bench, who's really listening?
