The green Wave

A Green Wave is the experience of traveling through any urban or sub-urban area without ever having to stop at street lights or other interruptive situation. Have a Great Trip you deserve the pleasures.

The Green Wave is a non-fixed route Client owned, subscription transportation system designed to primarily transport people to and from home, within +/- from designated population clusters to work center union sets.

The design and replication of “Community Transportation Systems Packages” provides these features security, safety, convenience, utility, is environmental equity and the accumulation of wealth.

The transportation system is comprised of comfortable multi passenger coaches, community members’ vehicle pool, a user-friendly community communications and transaction system, and consumer merchandising capabilities.

The market would be generated by the initiative of small community Co-ops (or revolutionary 17-25 year olds) where many of whose members commute to the same job centers. This system would serve the entire community including the fulfillment of children’s’ and elders’ transport needs.

Each transportation system package is a co-op enterprise where the passengers contribute to its success. The principal business participants are Community passenger/owners, local Vendors providing specific measured services and Corporations providing consumables and capitol equipment.

Im looking for a Bento Box,

Im looking for a Bento Box, it cant be pinku (thats japanese for pink) or any girl color. It has to be of 2 or more kotoba (thats japanese for 2 compartments) and has be be chibi (small) sized. And has to be really kawaii (cute). Also It has to be about 10-20 bux. And you have to post pics of it first (i want to make shure it's kawaii (cute)). And it would be nice if it came with matching chopstick holder (WITH chopsticks). OH! and it CANNOT have any cartoon pictures, or be made out of plastic. It has to be made of ceramic, or something like that. Also it would be nice if it was made in japan. and not in china or corea (korea) or whatever. I have found a Bento Box similar to the one im describing in e-bay, but it was 1 kotoba, and i dont want my gohan (rice) to touch my other things (it can get wet and i would not like that, plus 2 compartments looks more kawaii)

Get Bento at Porter Exchange

They have a Japanese Free Trade Zone going on in the lower levels. Red Line to Porter, exit on Mass Ave and turn right about 50 meters.

You can have your Bento box and bento supplies there too!

There is also Kam ??? Market in Quincy, which is a supermarket with attached Asian market stall area. Not just Chinese there - just about everything Asian.

///the soul train/// Bento Boxes on Board

Wow the soul is in this web machine all right. Here is a runaway expression of technology in search of Bento boxes.

Worcester 2 Boston you find great opportunities to have ease of travel no matter your socio economic status. The echelon of transportation choices should be increased and our bosses should ride the same system. Why do they get a Car, it's repairs, it's fuel and communications all being paid for through republican molded tax laws.

It's time to wake up and enjoy your ride without having to worry about stops along the way or for thoase driving being attached to a steering wheel, brake and acceleration peddle for the duration.

commie

Oh, wait. Now i think I get it. Allen's supports communal action. How about: get a bike, or take the train, or get a hybrid, or move closer to your job... and if none of that works for you, you could always move to any of the following countries: China, Cuba, Lao, N.Korea or Vietnam. Passenger van pools? Great concept in Utopia (or any commune/communist country), not so much in reality though. Instead of wasting time pondering the "revolution", how about figure out some PRACTICAL ways to fix the system we're in.
over-the-top nonconformist idealism = self-absorbed a-hole

Congratulations!

By confusing the word "communal" with "communism", you've made even less sense than Allen!

thanks for nothing spatch

spatch, there was no confusion, but thanks: (SEE:DEFINITION 3A/B FOR COMMUNAL / SEE:DEFINITION 1A/B COMMUNISM)(NOTE THE STRIKING SIMILARITIES)

Oy ...

The weevils are loose today ...

Please Now, A Car Salesman has a more devious motivatio

Do you realize that the resources we are consuming are strangling most households and communities in the state. As far as you can see is only Route 128 that is absurd. If you draw a fifty mile centroid around the most land mass of eastern Massachusetts, the center of that circle diagram center is Worcester.

Worcester is the Heart Of New England. We are proud people and if worded correctly and collectively, We resent that the Boston area is taking 20% of our sales tax to pay for your "T"

Believe it we have our own accent that is quite peculiar. What you don't seem to understand is that a 50 mile commute would cost around $16,000 per year. The technology and brains are in Massachusetts to reduce that cost by around 80%. Middlesex county is where real stuff is made technologically. Worcester has a 1 mile long production complex that even has its own railroad to their mines. Worcester is the heart of New England. Try thinking about how huge a metropolitan area can be. ?

Your Website is cool and probably the Commuters Union Cooperative would love to advertise here.

Let's Grow Up a Bit

The terminology has not been coined yet and you are jumping to sociological metaphors combined with it's not my problem and you (who?) should solve their own problems.

The government alone spends for every car on the road in the United States between $5-8,000 per car per year. That affects all of us; if you desire to get sociological and help define the economic impact of these cars. Your constructive comments are always welcome. This practically means that for every car on the road it can basically pay for 100% Health Insurance without sweating at all.

So Facism is Better?

The Neocon Right seems to think so. Imperialsm is high on their agenda, too. But Weeblies likes it when they call themselves Republican, now don't you?

Never mind that the WPA was devised at a critical time to prevent both Communism and Facism from getting a toehold among legions of unemployed youth of the 1930s. A little socialism can go a lonnnng way!

Regardless to all the nitpicking in here

Your posting just isn't pertinent to the goal of this site. If you want to keep a blog where you post all of the information for your Green Wave Enterprises outfit, Allen, that's one thing. Universal Hub is supposed to be neighborhood-specific news agglomeration and reactions. This isn't some marketing focus group or recruiting station for your ideas on new-age transportation means.

At least when "the zak" goes on one of his linkfest library rants, most of the time, it's about the Boston Public Library and their news and going-ons. But your posts aren't about news, they're about non-newsworthy future ideals and business ventures. Then on top of that, they're so full of bumbling buzzwords and tags that are neither broken up correctly nor sensical (what in your post has anything to do with the presidential nominees??) that the whole thing just discounts credibility and barely borders on sanity.

Your Welcome, I understand that you have been called upon

No disrespect to the intention of this board. I would appreciate very much if I were given a chance to express transportation economic terms that truly relate to everyone.

Boston is the center of the Universe but it should not be taking financial assets from the rest of the state. In Worcester we have great bicycle trails that if business were to come to this area the rest of the state would be able to expand economically. I remember when working in the Tech sector that it was great to get out a few times a week even in the winter to ride a bike.

I admit that I have some screws missing but have found that all of them are not necessary when I was rebuilt. A reason for being whose purpose is to help others deserves some respect. If you must report me to the thought police then I accept your judgment.

Why not develop this idea on your own website?

This is not what Universal Hub is for. Once your idea is developed more fully, make a short post here pointing to a more detailed description on your website.

With All Due Respect

I know that this may be as sour as a lemon. Bostonians really do think the world revolves around them. There are great minds certainly in the Boston Metro Area and consider themselves much more polished that Metro West Hicks. Let's get real here many of the people complaining about the T are a bit naive. The working staff of the T is so enormous it is unspeakable, when they cut the ribbon for the new Blue Line Subway Cars there were 10 men with scissors videod on Channel 5. The tape before the news footage showed how silly they were in trying to manage each other in cutting their own piece of the ribbon, Each one of those guys is most likely earning well over $150,000 each.

I will take a rest. My graphic artist said that, "What you guys really want is entertainment in the form of cartoons" I am not getting paid here or am I trying to advertise. I believe that enough is enough, When the CEO of GM says that "global warming is a crock" I become very anxious that they will continue with their buggy whip mentality and treat us like we are their horses.

And with all due respect

No, people in Boston aren't that parochial; they do care about the world outside 128 (look at how many presidential candidates come from inside 128).

However:

This does sound like something you should be promoting and developing on your own Web site, especially since you think it's really a national issue. This IS a parochial site in the sense that it's about Boston (well, greater Boston). Insofar as your proposal is about Boston, great, but you've already posted about this wave thing and I see nothing new in this latest post, except that you get a little bit closer to the point this time around instead of making us drag out of you what it is you're talking about.

As for MetroWest Hicks, with all due respect, and I say this as a Boston resident: Blow it out your ear. People in Boston don't have to be convinced of the value of mass transit or paratransit or non-car-based transit. It's the suburbanites who have to be shown why they should get out of their cars. Insulting them isn't going to help your case much.

This isn't new

Maybe it is new to Boston, but I kind of doubt it. When my dad started commuting from Major City to Capital City each day, he belonged to a commuter consortium which ran regular ride options from several points in the Major City Metropolitan Area.

He got discounts for driving 1 week a month.

This seems like a generalization of the concept. Not unwelcome, but deserving of more than this Ginzu Knife treatement (NOW how much would you pay? But wait ... there's more ...)

Boston has it too

Used to be called "Caravan for Commuters" but now seems to be called MassRIDES. Click on "Carpooling", "Vanpooling", or "Ridematching Sign Up" under the "Commuters" menu.

I still don't understand how the original poster's proposal differs from this established program.

Hovercraft are involved

Although I'm still waiting for my personal jet pack.

As for Boston not really being the Hub of the Universe, um, yes, sir, we get it. But this site *IS* about Boston. That's why the discussions focus on Boston. So, yes, Boston is the Hub of Universal Hub.

Metro West Are The Wheels That Keep Boston Alive

Boston is, The Worlds Greatest Hub in the Universe. The Transportation/ Civil engineering department At MIT is superb and their students just need to get enthused about Inter Modal Transit Networks and Tensor Trip Mapping instead of using O'clock You would use units like 10 O'Nav. (Whatever). Harvard and BU are also top notch and their transportation interests are in econometrics, sociology, behavior, etc.

Imagine Living in Boston and working in the country side by day and having outdoor time in Metro West.

I would like to raise scholarship money for our students and then Implement a Real Transportation Network.

I don't have to imagine it

I live in Boston and work in Southborough. It's not all it's cracked up to be.

Yeah, but

Work / life balance heavens to betsy and how much would you commuting with the wheels better system for everybody murgatroid?

Dilute Dilute Dilute!

Health is Wealth. Within 9 minutes you feel fresh, mint-clean, saving 90% of your hot water & soap, ready to help teach the whole Human Race the Moral ABC of All One-God-Faith! For we're All-One or none! ALL-ONE! ALL-ONE! ALL-ONE!

A Consortium is a A2B Posit Mode Of Transportation

In order to solve the Salesman Game Theory of Transportation you need to make as many trips as possible in a 5 hour period of time.

Consortium's are a nice thing,

Symposiums in Greek Times were a whole lot more fun. Imagine your father going to and from work in a club car. The after work ride could and would be very relaxing. He would have media, refreshments, parcel delivery, 24" Plush Seating and the magnificence of splendor that the idea of a club car evokes.
