GPS thefts all over the place

Boston Police report an upsurge of GPS-related smash-and-grabs in Allston/Brighton. Cambridge Police report their own GPS theft swarm in the Riverside and Cambridgeport neighborhoods. And Brookline Police report one or two GPS-related break-ins a day, although they also report catching one alleged GPS grabber in the act on Harvard Street Thursday evening.

All three police departments urge residents to take their units with them and to remove the suction-cup thingees.
