This is Boston?

Yeah, cute commercials boston.com's been running of late, no? Unfortunately, boston.com seems to have some problems figuring out Boston neighborhoods. The Missus fumes how the site initially identified Aria as "a South End nightclub:"
... Newsflash Boston.com... Aria ain't in the South End. It's in the Theater District. It says so right on their site. But in case you don't know the difference, I decided to quickly put together a map of the area for you...
However, I'm not sure I'd agree with her that Aria is "deep in the heart of downtown," either.

South End past and present
Maybe the Globe is just behind the times. A couple of centuries ago, this probably would have been considered the beginning of the South End.

When I saw that on boston.com earlier, I knew that the Globe as usual doesn't know where anything in this city is and also that someone would react with righteous indignation as a result. It's a pretty consistent pattern.
Somewhat Related
While I like the Boston.com commercials, I hate the Home Depot radio spot......passionately. When that woman talks about painting her walls lobstah red with Bayah paint, I want to reach through the radio and give her such a smack.
