Lites holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition from Michigan State University and earned a Doctor of Podiatric medicine degree from the Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Ill. She completed a surgical residency at Phoenix Community Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz.
