Why would they bring it to Boston? Here the infrastructure costs would quickly paid for by the multitude of subscribers (college kids), but those same subscribers will heavily use the service. Smarter to go to the 'burbs where Junior uses it for three hours a night ...

Obviously, Verizon will go with the second. It takes longer to recover the initial cost of upgrading the tubez, but in the long run they'll come out ahead.

Apparently they dont have the logistics of how to do apartment/condos worked out yet. I wish they would get it together though, I've been wanting to get off Comcrap since the day I got it

That's because they came and hooked up our new neighbors to the cable system, and guess what? We suddenly have all the channels! Previously, we had only the most minimal package because we had to to get the broadband service. Of course we are only paying for that still.

I told husband that it may not be all good if it means I further develop my HGTV addiction, and then they cut us off.
