Sadly...
More details like these will be lost if Druker's plan to replace Shreve's goes through (which it undoubtedly will). I know there are more than a few NIMBYs who read this blog. Be careful what you wish for when you decide to protest 19 story towers next to the Prudential Center...and then neglect to say a word when people like Druker decide to tear up Back Bay right under all of your noses. Height isn't what kills neighborhoods.

Right up the street is the birthplace of Ben Franklin, and there is a bust of him between the 2nd and 3rd floors. He doesn't miss much, either.
