Queen Dee takes a bite out of Bostonians who don't know how to pronounce the name of that roundoid food substance and shmears people for other mispronunciations. But she lox up the Boston English Speakah Awahd with a list of local pronunciations she wishes her poppy would use.

I've never heard "bahgel," but I once heard someone talk about "FINN-a-gle a Bagel."

Huh? That's the way they say it in parts of the Midwest, but I don't hear it pronounced that way around here.
as long as there is a forum for nitpicking......
as far as "data" is concerned, few people remember that it is the plural of datum. So it is improper to say "the data is....."-- it's "the data are...".
Also you can't have an agenda. You can have an agendum, or you can have agenda.
