I've never heard "bahgel," but I once heard someone talk about "FINN-a-gle a Bagel."

Huh? That's the way they say it in parts of the Midwest, but I don't hear it pronounced that way around here.
as long as there is a forum for nitpicking......
as far as "data" is concerned, few people remember that it is the plural of datum. So it is improper to say "the data is....."-- it's "the data are...".
Also you can't have an agenda. You can have an agendum, or you can have agenda.
