The Herald's Jessica Van Sack takes a ride with an undercover MBTA police unit that uses a female decoy to snag men with wandering hands on the subway. She reports on her own close call with a groper and how a "notorious pickpocket" kept his fingers to himself despite a woman's wide-open bag when he spotted one of the cops giving him the eye.

The only time I recall being groped on the T, Hands McAsshat took an elbow to the belly and a spike heel to the converse all stars (c.a. 1994). He limped off the train, doubled over, at the next stop.
It was very unusual that I was even wearing heels on the T, and lucky that I had some bike repair gear including a tire patch kit in my purse - I used the rubber/plastic melting cement to reattach the heel I used.

I wonder: if the Grope Patrol "decoy" donned sharia-certified body covering, would she get groped more or groped less?
Would she be seen as uncomplaining and vulnerable, or protected?

Double standard and Female Propaganda
i used to work at a night club, i was groped all the time, did i like it no, i even had people shoving their thumbs in my ass, i worked at kfc had people rubbing themselves on me, im pissed but what could i do about it. Im a guy and they were girls. Its a sick double standard, its fine to grope guys if your a girl, its flirty, but your a pervert if you do it to girls i see. you say oh i punched him in the stomache then stepped on his feet. And everyone says yoyuo go girl! if the gender roles were reversed youd be having a shit that some girl got punched in the stomach and had her feet stepped on. Its this desire to get special priveledges and inability to see that what happens to women can happen to men, but nobody takes it seriously because and only because it happens to a guy. Its bs, want me to start punching every fat chick that gropes me, well i wont because i wont stoop to their level, like you did. groping happens it part of life, get over yourself, youll live. Besides if everyone has the right to be free from groping, where are the male cops watching out for drunk women at bars? Pleas you women want all the equality, but none of the shared responsibility, the more you put up a hissy little witch hunt, the less and less you will be respected, so go ahead, whine and cry and make a big fit next time your ass gets smacked, then go to the bar and get wasted and do the same thing to "that hot guy". You are hypocrites, and i beg you whine and cry louder, because it just reinforces everyones idea you need someone to protect you.
