Graffiti filled with ennui

Marty photographs some not-so-animated animated graffiti in Allston:
... Some neighborhoods have gang-related graffiti, others have large artwork. My neighborhood has film criticism.

the tagger is wrong on two counts - defacing property and felonious movie review ...there's no accounting for bad taste.
Graffiti
Behind my old apartment, someone wrote, "J Geils is Bad." Not only do I disagree with that, but it always made me wonder why they didn't write, "J Geils Sucks."
My Allston favorite
On Ashford St., on the wall between the Harvard Track Center and the corner of Ashford and Malvern, someone has proclaimed "Titties R Awesome."
Which they are, but this hardly qualifies as a newsflash.

Here's a link to my Boston Graffiti messages flickr set. I have "Toy Story 2 was okay" and "Titties r awesome" in there. There are 89 shots as of today and most of the messages are about how drunk the artist was at the time or beefs about who painted over whose work. Some are political statements. My favorite says "We're in the belly of this horrible machine and the machine is bleeding to death."
