The House of the House of Pizza

Eeka describes her House of Pizza project, in which she is attempting to take a photo of every single _____ House of Pizza in greater Boston.
Hmm. Combine that with the 351-cities-and-towns efforts and you've got yourself a lifelong project.

those crazy photogs...
Nevermind the ambition of Josh Michtom's Somerville madonnas project: photographing every single religious statue in private front yards.
Or you can ride every MBTA bus route
like this guy, though he quit at route 121.
Disappointing
Too bad she's not sampling the fare at any of the HOP's. I was hoping for a "Super Size Me" type project.
Why?
You've tried one HoP pizza, you've tried 'em all. I imagine they all get their pizzas from a central warehouse somewhere in Chelsea, down by the docks.
No!
Not true at all, Adam! While some are very generic and could be made anywhere, others are very good. In fact, the Greek-style of pizza (found in most HoPs) seems to be a New England anomily that would do well with a little studying. (My favorite Greek-style is not from a HoP, but from Nick's in Medford.)
Nick's
OK, I take it back then, because our favorite Greek-style pizza is from Nick's in Roslindale. Therefore, we can conclude that pizza made by a guy named Nick is good.
nicks in roslindale
tell me more.ive been searching for a good greek pizza for a long time.thick crust?more cheese than sauce? details please!
Same crust as everywhere
More cheese, though, I think.
Mostly, though, it's that Nick is a really nice guy. Also, it's the only pizza place in greater Boston, I bet, that has a mural of the legend of Phaeton painted on the wall. So, on second thought, worth a trip from Greater Roslindale, but probably not any farther out.
Anybody actually been to My Big Fat Greek Pizza in Forest Hills?
The crusts are trucked in
The crusts are trucked in pre-made, and the ingredients are all ordered from the same suppliers. Individuals may add their own florishes, but they all start with the same fixin's. At least that's how they started. I've been avoiding them for years.
The Dedham House of Pizza...
is located in Dedham Square, at the corner of Washington and High.
My Quest
Just in case anyone was wondering, I haven't given up on my Project 351; I'm just on strike until this state supplies me with a 50+ degree day. So it might be a while.
