Too funny - I heard one while I was walking the dog this morning, though I couldn't spot the bird. I did spot one on another street in my neighborhood not that long ago (some time in February, maybe?), and pointed it out to my husband.

But then again, you'd expect no less in the wilderness here, where residents are just as likely to spot possums in their trash as they are to bring the pets in when the coyotes come around.
