Brookline turkeys draw blood

... Recently, the animal control officer encountered two male turkeys while conducting an investigation into a report of a wild turkey. He was attacked by these turkeys, requiring medical attention to his leg. It appears a resident had been feeding the turkeys.
Brookline Police ask all residents not to feed turkeys in their neighborhoods. If the turkeys have no food they will move on. They also advise residents not to leave children unattended in the yard near turkeys ...

the smart thing to do, then, is go feed turkeys in other peoples' neighborhoods, so the critters have no cause to wander to yours. Maybe that's how SoBro oughtta roll.
