Man got so caught up stabbing a friend he injured himself and his blood led police to him, DA says
Larry Nelson, 50, is charged with murdering Richard Stroman sometime in October of last year. He was arraigned this afternoon in Roxbury District Court, according to the Suffolk County DA's office and Boston Police.
Prosecutors charge that in the course of stabbing Stroman - whom he had known for several years - at least 22 times, Nelson injured himself badly enough to leave a trail of blood out of Stroman's 62 Elm Hill Ave. apartment sometime in early October. Police used this trail to connect Nelson with the crime.
Police found Stroman's body on Oct. 11 after residents started complaining of a strong odor. He had been dead for several days.
Nelson pleaded innocent today; he was ordered held without bail.

Wrong!
You are wrong! I grew up with Larry Nelson since we were thirteen years old. I will always care about what he did and so will his family.
