Two kids die in South Boston fire that might have been set

UPDATE: Angry lover charged with setting the fire.

Herald: Mother fought with woman who threatened her hours before. Two sisters, 3 and 14, at 154 W. Sixth St. Also see the Globe report.

Spark it up

This is the second major fire in SoBos in the past few months. I have heard that the other one was a meth lab which is why the fire spread so fast. Makes me curious about this one too. Seems odd if there were two meth labs within blocks of e/o.

Meth lab?

You might want to read the stories in the Globe and Herald. Sounds more like a case of revenge arson (and if so, I hope they catch the woman and lock her up for life without parole).

As for why the fire might have spread so fast: It's a wood building.

Look at the "interior photos"

Doesn't look like a meth lab to me - more like that it was arson + house with no insulation.
