At least one dead as gunfire erupts across city

Luis Troncoso, 20, was fatally shot in the head at a basketball court in the Southwest Corridor Park near the Stony Brook T stop around 4 p.m. today, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office.
The shooting came not long before four men were shot, none fatally, at Whittemore Terrace and Hancock Street in Dorchester. The Globe reports officials do not believe the shootings (or the South End shooting of a 13-year-old) are related.
The Herald had reported police were responding to "angry mobs."

State Police in charge of the investigation because it happened at a DCR park, according to the Suffolk County DA's office. Name withheld pending family notification.
