Record company fined $12,000 for befouling Dorchester

Boston has fined Atlantic Records $12,000 for plastering posters all over Dorchester:

... During a routine walkthrough of various Dorchester neighborhoods, Sgt. Steve Tankle observed many music release posters plastered on city poles along Dorchester Ave. and Washington St.

Sgt. Tankle also noted, some poles contained two posters of the various advertisements. Tickets were immediately issue to Atlantic records for violation of City Ordinance, 16-23.1 "posting signs without authority." ...

Tip o' the Sox cap to John Keith for spotting the city press release.

Actually, it is Zyrtec

A second evil empire ... or is it an allergy drug. Hard to keep the klingons and pokemons straight from the drugs anymore.

This is an ad for a competing antihistamine, implying that you will lose your cat because you are waiting for the competitor, claritin, to stop working.

Annoying? Oh yes.
