Another alleged T perv uncovered

On the Red Line at JFK/UMass (note to Herald: Trolleys don't run on that part of the Red Line).

Well...

Trolleys don't run at JFK/UMass, but they DO run on the Red Line. Mattapan to Ashmont, and vice-versa.

(I know. I'm nitpicking.)

Meta-nits!

Hey, if I'm going to nitpick the Herald, I deserve to have a nit or two picked (ew). I've updated the post.

I bet

I bet he just flew in from Pennsylvania on a Delta flight two nights ago.

Someone ask Ms. Goldklank to pick him out of a line-up.

dangerous precedents

This is a dangerous precedent- I didn't see any corroborating witness accounts. Yet those charges probably make the guy a "sex offender", which brings a ton of shit down on someone.

It'd be nice if in the MBTA's hysteria, they remembered that men have civil rights. Where did this whole issue come from, anyway? Did Boston have a massive influx of pervy T riders this month? I've never heard a single friend of either gender claim to have ever seen something like this.

I was accused once....

By merlinmurph | Thu, 04/24/2008 - 12:49pm

years ago. I was in a bar, walking thru the crowd, and next thing I know, some chick is yelling at me. Now, I had NO idea why, and I'm standing there with a dumb look on my face, trying to figure out what's going on. Finally, I figure it out, and because I really don't like being falsely accused of anything, I stood there and told her I did nothing. She wanted none of it and kept yelling at me, so I left.

Now, what would happen these days if the same thing happened on the T?

Perhaps

Perhaps it was easy to make positive identification because the guy was still... hanging out.
