Those maps are the best. We live around the corner from the Bellevue commuter rail stop and if they were to extend the orange line like a couple of those maps have it. I would be the happiest man in Roslindale !

Blah blah blah

West Medford, Urban ring, whatever. You really wanna get me pumped for the future? Take half the stops off the B line.

The T would be happy to do that!

Except they would add 12 more in BU at the same time.

The b line

Absolutely!
The B line seems to have a stop every hundred yards around BU and it stops about every 15 seconds to load/unload. Is it really that impossible for the B riders there to walk extra 100 yards if a stop or two gets eliminated?
I shave seen a skateboarder roll by the trolley once and he beating it without even trying.

As a former BU student...

...I have to agree 100%. It was quicker for me to walk to the D line and take it to Kenmore and then B outbound 2 stops (on a cold day) than it was to take it from Chestnut Hill ave to BU Central. Granted this was 16 yrs ago but it seems the student 'zombies' haven't learned much. I do have to say that the T operators then and now aren't much better, lots of shouting and 'short stopping' - in any event about 6-7 less stops and spacing them out better would do wonders.

I really do dig these maps, it would be nice if some of them were a bit more realistic. ;)

Am I the only one who ever wanted a red line extension to central square?

How about commuter boats along the charles for rapid transit?
