Make up your mind about Sidekick, Boston Globe
By Ron Newman - Mon, 04/28/2008 - 9:12am.
A few weeks ago, you got rid of Saturday Sidekick and moved the comics, TV listings, and crossword into Saturday Living & Arts.
Today, you got rid of Monday Living & Arts, and put the arts features and movie ads into an expanded Monday Sidekick.
Are you trying to confuse your daily readers? Do one of these things or do the other, but not both. Once you make up your mind, try doing the same thing every day of the week.

Minus, One Curmudgeon
My 14-year-old adapts easily to the comic hunt. I, on the other hand, sorely miss Dale Dauten, the Corporate Curmudgeon.
Apparently two Sunday's ago, der Glob dropped his column when it the now tiny combined business, works and careers lost its insert and now is as slim as the Sidekick. Dauten is unquestionably the best written, wisest and most useful business column I have ever see in sickly rag.
It's a syndicated column, which I bet costs $50 or less a week. You don't need management savvy or a chuckle, Boston.
I hate Sidekick
I was happy to see the Saturday comics back in the paper, although I had to scout around to find C-Minus. Love that!
I would not mind if they got rid of Sidekick altogether.
Page count
Looking into my crystal ball, I see the Glob of the future expanding and contracting Sidekick to reduce page count and match daily ad sales...
