The attorney from Florida quoted at the end of the article is correct. Issuing an exemption for this advert - which I think is pretty nifty - would open the door to a lot of challenges. I don't wish to see my home state cluttered up with a lot of billboards like its sister across the Connecticut. It's one of the things that Vermonters know is responsible for making the state what it is, even if the DOT does come across as a bunch of sign nazis
They violated a well-known law every which way they could - seems like no excuse to me. I have no problem with the article - this is New England, right? We could use a similar law.
