You can count on anon (not verified) for a categorical opinion but on the facts he's consistently incorrect.
Wrong...a lot of people care

I have been a Celtics fan for a long time and this season has been a blast. It's great to see KG doing so well and for Boston to have a winning, exciting team again. So-called fans like Dan Miller get on my nerves- no, Larry Bird isn't on the floor, but if you can't get excited watching Kevin Garnett play defense and hit smooth jumpers, or seeing a young guard like Rondo flourish, or Paul Pierce finally surronded by a top caliber cast, then it's your loss. Have fun watching ESPN classic while the rest of us enjoy the present.
I just hope that the C's can pull themselves together and win this series. For the record, they aren't the only team having trouble on the road. The Lakers and the Spurs have lost all their away games so far in round 2.
Celtics

Love this team. I was born in the year they won their first championship, 1957, so I sort of feel a special kinship. Go Celtics!

Don't worry - we won't tell THE WIFE.
I often do

Most often, when MY WIFE isn't around. It usually isn't much of a date, though. I'm always a gentleman and things never get out of hand.
(We now return you to your regularly-scheduled sane commentary.)

I love this team too. They play with the same commitment as the Bird, Havlichek, Cousy and Russell era teams.
With all their success, a league leading 66 regular season wins, they still haven't figured out how to win on the road in the playoffs.
If the pattern holds, their home court advantage - the advantage they earned by winning the conference leading 66 games - will allow them to win by a narrowest of margins. Here's to them winning game 5 and hopefully 6 but if not 7.
no no no, don't bring it

no no no, don't bring it home. whatever it is leave it in cleveland!
I'm content to keep the streak of losing every road game and winning every home game, that works in our favor
ESPN Classics?

Eileen - I love watching ESPN Classics. Thanks for the suggestion.
I agree - I'm a fair-weather fan. It's not that I root against the Celtics - they just don't pique my interest until they start to win. It's been a great regular season but I want to see them carry this through the playoffs. I'm not convinced they can do it.
