Mark Baard interviews a guy who runs his car on "waste vegetable oil," which will set you back about $1.50 a gallon. He gets the stuff from restaurants and turns it into biodiesel - which can power any diesel car with an add-on kit.

Unless people start eating more french fries, the price of biodiesel will go up as more people us it. It's only a deal for early adopters.
