Teens gone good

What's with teens these days?

First, 18-year-old Newburyport High School senior Derek Raschke saves a man's life (actually, my friend's dad). Then nineteen-year-old Sudbury native, Red Sox intern, and University of Arizona sophomore Ben Papapietro risks his own safety to care for a woman stuck on one of the crashed trolley's in Newton.

And, there's multi-media.

I wanted to wrap up with some sort of wise-crack, but then I listened to the 911 tape of Papapietro calmly seeking help, comforting the stuck woman, answering questions, and helping the woman cover her mouth from the smoke.

Simply inspiring.
