Woman run down by alleged drunk driver in West Roxbury

The victim suffered life-threatening injuries after being mowed down while crossing Centre Street at Belgrade Avenue, Channel 5 reports.
The Globe reports.
She hit the windshield and landed 30 to 40 feet from the intersection. The car stopped several hundred feet farther up Centre Street.
Channel 5 says she had just left dinner with friends at Himalayan Bistro. Doctors eating at West rushed outside to help.
Patricia Dolan, 43, of Roslindale, was arrested.
Tough to be pedestrian on Centre St.
You have to really really be paying attention when you are out walking ANYWHERE......too many speeders, too many drunk speeders, too many drunk speeders on their cell phones, or plugged in to their tunes, or simply in their own little worlds...
