Channel 7 general manager now former Channel 7 general manager: Randi Goldklank resigned and agreed to a plea deal in East Boston District Court that will keep her out of jail if she stays away from booze and drugs for a year. She also apologized to state troopers for her behavior at Logan, which included threatening one trooper's job after she was hauled off a plane - and will pay restitution to the trooper whose glasses she broke during the fray.

Guys would never grope women on an airliner.
Cops at the airport would never over react and then cover their rear ends with hyperbole and criminal charges (see also teenager with playdough and led shirt).
Commenters might notice that other commenters were able to back off when shown evidence that a rational test was satisfied (e.g. she was taken to a hospital because she did show evidence of being drunk/synergistic reaction with medication and alcohol - evidence that cops weren't making it up because any responsible responder would know enough first aid to spot a toxic situation).
Said commentators could show the maturity and to not engage in chronic bully-like baiting and personal attacks months on.

You didn't back off at the time. Your last comment in that thread is about your pathophysiology course at Harvard Med and your medical training with the Navy and your teenage years spent teaching others to recognize drunk from drunk and in "serious mortal peril" (dun dun DUN!). There was no "geez, now that I read it back, I've created a contrived series of incongruous malice that would need to occur for this woman to not be the one in the wrong and in need of help for her drinking problem". The closest you came to conciliation was to accept that the cops gave her medical attention; you certainly left all of the airline harassment/bullying stuff and over-aggressive cop fabrications out there, as it was. You also didn't say anything to rectify calling Brett a perv.
I see this as a microcosm of something that happens more and more in today's semi-anon, sound-byte, etc. world of commentary. People throw out the craziest crap, that they may or may not fully believe, and then don't expect it to come back on them when the discussion/issue is resolved. So, I think a little "told you so" is in order sometimes. If you're chronically being "bullied" with your own words after the fact, then it seems you might want to learn from past mistakes. Maybe, in a perfect world, us said commenters wouldn't have anything to bring up again.
