I heard the interview live; there was a lot of chit chat about stuff like the Celtics before he even brought it up. He said that he's going to shoot for coming back and pitching for some team that needs pitching help next year after the All-Star break, but it's a better than even chance that he's pitched his last game. D&C tried to get him to comment on whether he was blaming the Sox for making him put off surgery over the winter, but he wouldn't go there. He said there are shoulder issues that go beyond the biceps transfer that they were talking about back then.
Bummer.
I guess now he can campaign for John McCain full time.
