Gas line

A station in Franklin lowers its price for a gallon of regular to $3.97 and a jam ensues.
Doesn't look any worse than the everyday lines at Rojo in Norwood, though.

Gas Prices Will Only Go Up
I think the way gas prices are moving up, we will be around $4.50 a gallon in December 2008. If some stations offer it at a cheaper price, that's only temporary. Although, you have to admit you don't see gas below $4 a gallon nowadays.
I work in Marblehead
where there are no gas stations. I go over to Salem on my way home and over on Highland Ave regular unleaded is $3.98 at the Blue Canoe/Irving station that just opened a couple months ago. The place is mobbed, but everything moves swiftly.
Up by my house in Groveland, the gas station sells for $4.06 but they pump it for you. So I have no problem paying the extra 7 cents there to keep from getting smelly and gassy.
One Exception
There will likely be some "special election pricing" come late October.
Not that it would fool anyone, really.
So much for a gas tax holiday - more room to raise the prices!
