Meh.
I feel like if you're in a bar after a certain hour, you stop being able to comment about typical bar behavior. I agree that dancefloor suckface-age when no one else is dancing, sure, is in poor taste. And before, say, 11pm, it's probably uncalled for. So if that was the case, I guess my face is red. But if it was later at night, well, I don't know, it's a bar. People are drinking and stupid. It happens.
You can't possibly have read the link
If that sort of thing happens in the bars you hang out at... then tell me which they are so I can avoid them.
BR - I absolutely agree.
BR - I absolutely agree. This disgustingness, however, was happening at around 9PM - while people were still having dinner in the bar area! I should have mentioned that in the original blog post so people got the full effect.
Sadly I am rarely in bars after 11pm these days!
Dance Area or 3D Block-Out for Stupid
Maybe Bars should have a special dance area for "Stupids", or the bar could have some type of 3D effect that blocks-out patrons of the floor. For those who want to have an early night suck-face, just dance on the "Stupids" portion of the dance floor or the bar manager can turn on the 3D block-out so his other patrons won't be annoyed or embarrassed.
All can enjoy their meal, dance with their partners have a good night, stay later than 11pm if they want and everyone will be happy. Now how's that for a solution.
