A woman was killed this morning in the Sullivan Square Orange Line station, a Boston Fire Department Spokesman said.

Steve MacDonald said firefighters were called to the Charlestown station at 9:07 a.m. to investigate a report of a person underneath the northbound Orange Line train.

MacDonald said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene and that she was found underneath a six car train inside the station.

The station is closed and the T is using shuttle buses between North Station and Oak Grove.
