You can feel good about Brigham's

Brigham's sells itself off; Hood to get ice cream lines, some Baltimore company you've never heard of to get the remaining Brigham's stores.

So, has anyone heard of 'Deal Metrics' ?
It does not sound like the name of a food or restaurant company, and Googling does not find anything useful.
used to be known as Madison
used to be known as Madison Capital Markets LLC. I doubt Deal Metrics will be running ice cream stores.
Memories of hoodsies...
Memories of hoodsies... Mmmmm....
Hoodsies and Fourth of July
Lo these many years ago.....
The entire summer "youth program" in Boston
seemed to be some one showing up with hoodsies
at the local elementary school playground on the Fourth of
July. (Am talking early sixties here.)
Can remember spending hours, waiting at the
Joyce Kilmer School in WR, for the magic moment
when the half-melted cups would arrive. And don't
forget the wooden tongue depressor like spoon.
Kid's meals at Papa Gino's
Come with a Hoodsie and that wooden spoon.
I was actually thinking of
I was actually thinking of the "other" hoodsies. Strictly theoretical/nostagical, of course. ;-)
28 Brigham's locations?
The article says that Deal Metrics is acquiring "28 retail shops and restaurants" from Brigham's, but I see only 19 such locations on Brigham's web site. I'm not counting the 16 independent shops like Helen's and Colleen's and iScreamWorks listed as "Other Locations serving Brigham's Ice Cream".
When he realized Brigham's was doomed
Jay Fitzgerald writes it came to him when the company joined the cutsie-name trend for its ice creams (Dice Cream, say).
