Jury can't decide if guy is guilty of blowing his stepfather's brains out

Not that Terry Gray can expect to go free anytime soon - a jury yesterday convicted him of first-degree murder in the death of his aunt's boyfriend.

A Suffolk Superior Court jury announced today it was deadlocked on the issue of whether Gray murdered his stepfather, James Gray in July, 2005, several days before he murdered Charles Wilson. The judge declared a mistrial on the charges related to Gray's death; Suffolk County prosecutors say they will seek a new trial.

Gray faces life in prison without parole for Wilson's death. The jury today did convict him today of threatening another relative a month earlier.
