Man hit, killed by car in Roxbury

On Washington Street in Egleston Square, WBZ radio and the Globe report.
NOTE: I originally pointed to a Channel 4 report, which said the man was killed on Washington Street in Roslindale, and I should have known better than to trust Channel 4, because they seem unable to figure out the geography of any neighborhood south of the Fenway.

The accident was on Washington Street in Egleston Square, which is in Roxbury, i.e., nowhere near Roslindale.

That's why I couldn't find that image in Google street view. It took up far too much of my time this morning. I knew there was no place with those streetlights and that gas station and those style sidewalks in Roslindale!
On the other hand, I always thought Egleston Square was in JP. Turns out it straddles JP and Roxbury, and the gas station zip code is indeed Roxbury.
Canton man charged
Boston Police report arresting Teddy Smith, 26, of Canton, for hitting and killing Ricky Jones, 39, of Boston. Smith is charged with operating after suspension, motor vehicle homicide by reckless operation and speeding.
