Ronald, the young man who was killed, was the nephew of my home health care aide. She told me all about him yesterday when she was at our house. What a profound loss to the family and the community. He was a good kid going into his senior year of high school. He had a loving and supportive family. He was killed AT HIS HOUSE during the family's 4th of July celebrations. In front of his entire family. Such a terrible tragedy.

From the Suffolk County DA's office:

Boston Police arrested Louis yesterday evening at his Greenwood Circle residence after obtaining witness statements and ballistics evidence relative to the ongoing investigation into the shooting death of 17-year-old Ronald Marc. That investigation yielded information that Louis drew a gun and fired it near the area in which Marc was killed.

No one has been charged with Marc's homicide. The investigation into that homicide remains extremely active, Conley said.
