50 arrested in gang sweep

Boston Police report arresting 50 people today in an effort to stop gang violence (among them: the guy charged with the Hyde Park quadruple shooting). All were wanted on outstanding warrants, from operating with a suspended license to witness intimidation and assault with intent to murder.

Of the names released, 13 were from Dorchester, nine from Roxbury, two from Hyde Park, one from Mattapan, two from Providence and two from Brockton.

now, how long till they're all back on the street on bail?

Do the cops even have evidence to charge them, hope so, otherwise it's a waste of the DA's time to go through all this.

They swept up citizens, involved in gangs, with outstanding warrants. So its not clear if they have defaulted on warrants, in which case they would not be eligible for bail, or whether these are warrants the police haven't gotten around to serving, in which case the suspect can be back on the street as soon as they are arraigned.
