Wow!
That is an awesome shot!
Where were you standing to get it? What type of camera did you use?
*Is jealous and wishes she could take pictures like that*
Zoom, zoom, zoom
Thanks! I use a Canon S5 IS, which has a very nice zoom and is a good compromise between a point-and-shoot and a DSLR.
I'd been "following" that cloud on the way home to Roslindale from the Real Deal on Centre Street in West Roxbury - it was just this cool looking giant cloud. I pulled into the Rite Aid parking lot (Washington and West Roxbury Parkway, basically) and took some pictures. And then that plane just started flying across the cloud, and that's what really made the difference, I think, in part because it gives you a sense of the immensity of the thing (much better than the top of the phone-company building I'd gotten into some of my other shots). I was able to get three shots with the plane - ironically, the one I took with full zoom came out pretty poorly (you really need to keep your hands steady with that).
Don't be jealous, though. You can get good photos out of almost any camera these days. One key is just taking tons of photos - one of them is bound to come out really well and the rest, well, that's why we have a delete key :-).
good night for pictures
I took this one from International Place with a 2.25" on a tripod.
Great shot!
Taken with a zoom, I hope :-).
Great shot Adam!

I must agree, that really is a great shot.
